In today’s highly unpredictable, interconnected and volatile environment, companies are under constant pressure from media and stakeholders regarding all their actions. It is a business imperative that companies not only always conduct themselves in the ‘right manner’ but, are fully prepared to handle any untoward situation that directly or indirectly impacts their reputation and stakeholder trust.


The corporate reputation & crisis management workshop will provide attendees and overview of today’s media ecosystem and its impact on businesses with special focus on crisis. The workshop will be conducted basis FleishmanHillard’s proprietary methodology, A.R.C.™ (Assess. Resolve. Control.) and customized to provide a general overview of the rapidly changing media scenario and its impact on business reputation.


The session will especially focus on contemporary corporate crisis situations and provide an outline of managing such situations. The workshop will touch upon best practices, Do’s and Don’ts and key message delivery during high pressure media and stakeholder engagement as well. The workshop agenda will briefly touch upon the below topics:

·        Media and corporate reputation

·        General role of a company spokesperson

·        Role of spokesperson in a crisis

·        Crisis management and preparation


The above topics will be explained in an interactive manner using recent or past industry examples (cases) coupled with short videos, theory and anecdotes. 

Munavar has over 16 years of experience across editorial, communications and corporate public relations. He has been with FleishmanHillard for over three years managing a growing team of 20+ professionals working across B2B and B2C industries. He has hands-on experience in working with senior business executives on complex stakeholder engagement programs and addressing internal/ external reputation related issues. Prior to joining FH, Munavar has worked with several other global PR firms such as Edelman and Weber Shandwick and has also led the marketing and investor relations function at Blue Star Infotech (Infogain), a publicly listed Indian IT services company.


Munavar is a certified trainer on FleishmanHillard’s proprietary crisis management methodology ARCTM and has conducted many crisis and media workshops for business leaders, NGOs, CXOs and board-level members at Indian and MNCs. Munavar started his career as a market researcher editing a weekly magazine on capital investment in India. Munavar is an is a post graduate in advertising and public relations and an IIMA alum.

1. Will we get a certificate for the Workshop? If yes, who will be issuing them?

Yes, a certificate will be awarded to all Workshop participants. It will be issued by the institute and contain the name of the organisation conducting the Workshop. Participants registering for Workshop Packs will get a separate certificate indicating their participation in the Workshop Packs.


2. Will the Workshop timings overlap with each other?

No, the Workshop timings will not overlap with one another.


3. What is the duration of the Workshop?

The Workshop will be for 2 and a half hours.


4. Who are the speakers for the session? Is TRBS going to mention it on the site?

No, the Workshop is open to everyone. Working professionals can also attend the Workshop.


6. Does the Workshop cost include accommodation or food?

No, the Workshop cost doesn’t include accommodation or food. The accommodation has to be booked separately.


7. What is the cost of accommodation? Does this include food? Who can avail of the accommodation?

The cost of accommodation can be found at This cost doesn’t include food. However, meals can be availed from any of the campus outlets at the participants’ expense. Only those who registered for the Workshop can avail the accommodation from campus.


8. Can the Workshop participants attend other activities conducted during TRBS? 

The Workshop participants can attend other activities conducted during TRBS provided that they do not clash with your Workshop timings.


9. Can I register for anyone else from my ID to participate in the Workshop?

It's not allowed to register for anyone else using your ID. Entry to the Workshop venue will only be allowed for the person to whom the ID belongs.
