Speaker Profile: Amit Bhatnagar

Amit has been with American Express for 7 years, with an overall experience of over 16 years spanning across decision sciences, analytics and strategy consulting roles in US and India. In his current role, as part of Enterprise Digital and Analytics, he is responsible for managing a wide range of analytics for the merchant business of American Express. His team delivers global and scalable solutions that contribute to all aspects of a merchant lifecycle – perspective, activation, engagement and retention. He focuses his time in developing analytic solutions aligned with key business priorities and working closely with the merchant marketing team to implement them across markets. The solutions range from highly bespoke assignments for some of the largest merchants and targeting and segmentation solutions for agile marketing to small merchants.

Amit leads the “hiring” business pillar within EDA and also a full-time member of the AEIPL board.

Prior to joining American Express, Amit was the General Manager for India office at Essex Lake Group, a boutique strategy consulting company based out of New York. He has also spent time working at Washington Mutual and Capital One in the US. He holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad in 2003.

Yes, a certificate will be awarded to all Workshop participants. It will be issued by the institute and contain the name of the organisation conducting the Workshop. Participants registering for Workshop Packs will get a separate certificate indicating their participation in the Workshop Packs.


2. Will the Workshop timings overlap with each other?

No, the Workshop timings will not overlap with one another.


3. What is the duration of the Workshop?

The Workshop will be for 2 and a half hours.


4. Who are the speakers for the session? Is TRBS going to mention it on the site?

5. Is the Workshop only for college students?

No, the Workshop is open to everyone. Working professionals can also attend the Workshop.


6. Does the Workshop cost include accommodation or food?

No, the Workshop cost doesn’t include accommodation or food. The accommodation has to be booked separately.


7. What is the cost of accommodation? Does this include food? Who can avail of the accommodation?

The cost of accommodation can be found at This cost doesn’t include food. However, meals can be availed from any of the campus outlets at the participants’ expense. Only those who registered for the Workshop can avail the accommodation from campus.


8. Can the Workshop participants attend other activities conducted during TRBS? 

The Workshop participants can attend other activities conducted during TRBS provided that they do not clash with your Workshop timings.


9. Can I register for anyone else from my ID to participate in the Workshop?

It's not allowed to register for anyone else using your ID. Entry to the Workshop venue will only be allowed for the person to whom the ID belongs.
